Advanced File Gallery offers two plans: Free and Unlimited. The table below summarizes which features are available on each plan.

If you’re currently on the legacy Premium (seat‑based) plan, you’ll stay on that pricing model as long as you keep your subscription active. If you cancel and uninstall the app, you’ll need to choose between Free and Unlimited when you install AFG again.
Trial period
When you install AFG, you start with a 14‑day trial of the Unlimited plan.
During the trial:

You have full access to all features of the app.

There are no limits on collections or nested collections.

All locations (board, nested collections, item level, Updates) are available.
After the 14‑day trial
When the trial ends:

You will be asked to choose which plan you want to stay on:

Free
-
Unlimited

Choosing a plan is mandatory. Until you decide:

The app is effectively blocked.

You cannot view files via AFG.

Once you choose a plan, the app will be unblocked and work according to the feature set for that plan.
Choosing the Unlimited plan
If you decide to go Unlimited:

You will be redirected to the monday.com Marketplace pricing page to complete the purchase.

This flow is handled entirely by monday.com.

If you don’t have permissions to purchase apps in your monday.com account:

You will see a screen with a “Request to buy” button.

Selecting it sends a purchase request to your account admin, who can approve or decline it.

Staying on the Free plan
If you choose to stay on the Free plan:
Collections limit
In the free plan, you can have up to 5 collections. If you have more than 5 collections, you will be asked to choose which collections to delete until you are within the limit.
Important: Deleting a collection does not delete any files from monday.com. It only removes the organizational structure in the app. Files remain available in your monday.com account.
Nested collections
You will not have access to nested collections.
Files from Updates
Files from Updates will not be visible in AFG.
Item‑level availability
Advanced File Gallery will not be available on the item level. You will only be able to use the app in locations allowed by the Free plan.
